custom clothing workshop.    

Fifteen years ago I began a project to build a shop in Chile that would make a true hand made garment. The original concept was to make a true handmade suit  for the American buyer sold directly from own stores.  There are three factors that stand out in making this project difficult... 1. It took many years to train this shop to truly make the quality of clothes needed for this over $5000.00 suit.  2. There are few customers today that understand or appreciate hand made clothing.  3. The country should have been closer such as Costa Rica.

I have learned from this experience that I should have started this project with a moderately priced custom suit product and made it locally.  IT TURNS OUT THAT CUSTOMERS LOOKING FOR $5000.00 SUITS WANT TO PAY $5000.00  THEY ARE NOT LOOKING FOR QUALITY, VALUE THEY ARE LOOKING FOR STATUS.

Yet, Atlanta needs its own shop that makes custom clothing. New York has several, and Knoxville even has one. There are many good salesmen that would benefit from having a local shop from where to order clothes.  By manufacturing locally better service, quality, and value can be delivered to our customers.
