Cost These rough estimates are for a class size of 8 students Courses, textile, design, sewing, and marketing. This course can be taught only with desks and samples of fabric, fibers and video aides to show the equipment and practice. The inclusion of spinning wheel, loom, and knitting machine, would provide hands on practice of the process. eight student desks/chairs in class room Cost to be determined This course can be done with a traditional 10 feet by 65 inch long cutting table, or cad design program and plotter as is used in industry. This estimate priced with cutting table where students would be supervised as they practice. Four students could work on one table (two per side) assisting each other as they make two patterns and then cut the cloth. Cost of 2 tables $2000 approximate size of room needed, 400 square feet 16 by 20 feet Eight sewing stations would be needed. These sewing stations would require approximately 60sq/ft and would have Sewing table, Iron with Pressing horse, sewing machine (industrial) and Chair.
