Good Morning!

I hope you had a safe and warm holiday.

The sylabus is great and to the point.  NOTE THIS CHANGE:  We will offer the skill trades to ages 13 and up.
Over the weekend several young adults male & female have expressed a sincere interest in taking the course.

The next step in the sylabus will:

    1.  Describe the learning process of each topic ~ Example:  Lecture, video presentation, book reading and exercises, field trips, etc.   I think it will be ideal to create   study guide pamphlets for the course.  This way all information is preserved and guidelines will be documented and consistent for the future.   Determine if the printed pamphlets will be purchased by the students or if it will remain property of the organization.

    2.  List all equipment and materials needed for each course.  Stipulate items that student should provide and items the organization can provide.

    3.  State your instructor fee per student on a monthly basis.  Though our status is non-profit, our goal is to compensate professionals on performance-base commensurate with student achievement.  This is needed for the Business Plan.  Also, give your feedback on how we can distribute student stipends to supplement cost of materials.

    4.  Include a student application and/or aptitude assessment for the course.

    5.  Provide a mid-term progress report and final report card along with attendance.

This week i am starting the market analysis and drafting the Business Plan.  Please feel free to send your thoughts as they come and i can include them in the planning.

We will schedule our next meeting for a 2-hour session.  I will send an e-mail with a calendar to select the next meeting date.

Thanks Team!

I have not had time to fully answer in detail your recent email, and have a couple of questions.

1. Is there some basis for what the instructor fee represents as to responsibilities and time?

2. Is there an estimation of what the course would cost ?

I believe I will be going out of town this Friday will be back in one or two weeks, I will be available during that time via internet.

Thank you,

Claudio

hello and glad to see all is coming along well

I am working on a better presentation of this project. http://thetailorshop.com/tailorschool.htm

Please look over it and let me know of any changes in format or content you may see needed. I will up date it regularly as the day goes on and changes are made.

I believe the the salary amounts you describe are in line also with the tailoring trade and give me a basis to go on for cost.

Thank you

Claudio
