Business Details and Shop Information

Below you will find some details of our expenses and cost.

Although I believe this offer is best suited for a high end chain, department store, it will also be an opportunity for an investor, or possibly a single strong sales person. It will require that you are able to provide sales of a minimum of 10 to 20 suits per month, in order to keep this shop working. The cost of units of clothing is drastically reduced with the quantity made. You will find we are a well organized shop with the experience to make the finest clothes in the world.

I will work with you to train and integrate your sales and management with this shop and provide an excellent custom service to your customers. Ideally we would over the years expand production.

Accounting

Messenger... we maintain a link via yahoo messenger , with camera link, real time communication with tailors in the process of each order. All all the events of the shop are communicated and instantaneously advised .

Hechos... is what we call our database that is kept with production data. Each task is tracked ... as an order comes in it is given a tracking number, then each task is identified as it goes through our shop. At the end of the week our tailors and seamstresses are paid for what they have done. Quality is guaranteed, due to the policy that the entire job is deducted from wages if done incorrectly.

Each order carries with it details of all measurements, customer information, as well as controls for stock, inventory of supplies, and payment of salaries, and shipping details.

Our database is updated daily and emailed to your office for review. Here each day you will monitor the process of each garment. You will be able to verify measurements, materials used, as well as what is done, by whom, and when.

This is the calculation for one individuals weeks work... a slow week, 17.6 hours of work done paid at 2.000 pesos($4.00dollars)
per hour equals 35200 pesos for the week or about $70 dollars. Here you see that Floro hung a sleeve (colgar manga), did the finish sewing on two coats (forrar), Two argentine button holes by hand and pressed two coats (plancha)

Gastos.. is what we call our method of accounting (basic spreadsheet double entry bookkeeping). Each expense must be pre-authorized, a scan of the bill is sent for authorization and then confirmation of payment is filed and also scanned and emailed for audits.

Money is sent via bank card from a U.S.A. account used only for this purpose. The shop is authorized to go to the bank and withdraw the amount instructed. Dollars are exchanged by your bank into pesos and the amount they receive is pesos is inputted into the spreadsheet. The above example is, I sent (mando claudio) 230,437 which was $500 U.S. dollars Marcela and Floro were paid and we purchased 101,759 in canvass or about $200.00, for which I was sent a scan of the invoice paid.

We at one time had 12 persons working here, two of whom were English speaking. These figures are representative of a production of 5 suit/units per month during August.

Total expenses for August   $1390.00 dollars or  $714,879.00  pesos this is with two full time tailors and one part time  bookkeeper

This is month of August 2008 and it does not have shipping charges which I will add an app. $210.00 making the total expenses for the month $1600.00 this.

This shop with by adding three more employees this shop would have 5 employees and would add and approximate $400 to $600 per tailor per month for a total of $1800.00. The shop with 5 tailors makes 20 suits per month.

Cost of shop with 5 employees $ 3400.00 per month

Plus lease cost $ 2500.00 per month

Total $ 5900.00 per month

Cost per suit to make $ 300.00 app

This cost would be further reduced over time as the shop matures and production times are reduced. Also if less hand work is put into the work cost is lower.
